Released in 2003 for the The Sydney Dreaming Festival, The Dreaming album is a theatrical adaptation of the Rainmaker Creation Story. The 'Walanbudu' is an increase rites ceremony where cultural ancestral spirits of growth and fertility are expressed in song and dance to reside over the growth of all new things.
Directed by Rhoda Roberts, The Dreaming Festival was initially performed at the Sydney Olympic Park. Music from this Festival has since gone on to be used in numerous indigenous events and ceremonies around the country.
