Black Cockatoo is a collection of commissioned musical tracks from various festivals and events from the last few years.

Tracks 1, 2 and 5 were commissioned by City Of Sydney for Sydneys New Years Eve Welcome To Country ceremonies performed in and around the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.

Tracks 6 8 and 10 were commissioned by Sydney opera House Trust. Called Badu Gili, ‘water light’ in Gadigal language, these shows are a series of animated projections of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Artists work that graces the eastern side of Bennalong sails of the Opera House each night.

Tracks 2,4,7 and 9 were commissioned by Northern Territory Major Events Company Pty Ltd and AGB Events Pty Ltd. These tracks are a soundscape for Parrtjima – A Festival in Light projections onto 2km of the East Mcdonald Ranges, Arrernte Country, Alice Springs.
